Wildlife Sanctuary

The Caribbean Coast of Panama is part of an extensive area of great biological wealth. It is located in the center buffer zones of the “Atlantic Biological Corridor of Panamá”, which is part of the greater eco system of the “Mesoamerican Biological Corridor”.
The Fundación Alianza Caribe is responsible for the conservation and protection of a 500 hectares (1,200 Acres) Wildlife Sanctuary. It is planned to be self-sustainable; most of its personnel will be volunteers from national and international Universities.
