Founded by BlueNexus alongside a group of visionary landowners and developers, Alianza Caribe embodies a shared commitment to unlock the vast potential of Panama’s Caribbean coast. For over two decades, we have witnessed the region’s extraordinary beauty and untapped opportunities for sustainable development.
Despite its promise, this area has remained relatively overlooked by previous governments, resulting in underdeveloped infrastructure, economic hardship, and limited national and international recognition.
Our Genesis
Our journey began with BlueNexus, a pioneering entity committed to sustainable development and ecological conservation. Recognizing the critical state of the Caribbean coast — where poverty prevails, infrastructure lags, and deforestation proceeds at an alarming rate — we knew that action was needed.
The rapid deforestation mirrored the environmental degradation once seen on the Pacific coast, signaling a pressing need to safeguard our rainforests and their wildlife.
Our Task at Hand
Alianza Caribe was established as a response to these challenges. Our mission is to foster sustainable development that respects the environment, supports local communities, and leverages the unique advantages of the Caribbean coast.
We aim to create a framework for development that offers an economic alternative to the unsustainable exploitation of natural resources, thereby preserving the region’s most valuable assets for future generations.
